The sailors have represented their country at every level of the sport, from junior championships to the Olympic Games, while also collecting medals at prestigious regional and international events.

At the heart of the team is captain Jovina Choo OLY, whose sailing career spans more than two decades. Alongside experienced sailors such as Daniella Ng, Bernie Chin and Ryan Lo OLY, the team brings together a unique combination of talent, ambition and teamwork.

The connection between the sailors is one of Singapore’s greatest strengths. Many of them have known one another since childhood, training and competing together for years. Their average age may be low, but their determination and commitment are undeniable.

This is not the team’s first visit to Grandson. Singapore previously trained at the SSL Training Centre in 2022, and now the team has returned to Lake Neuchâtel to continue its preparations for the World Cup in Sailing, in Brazil.
